What's it like getting there from San Diego or LA?
About two hours south of San Diego — a coastal drive through Ensenada that most couples describe as the beginning of the trip, not the logistics of it. The valley itself is wine country: vineyards, open sky, quiet roads. You arrive and it already feels like you've left everything behind.
How does payment work from the States?
Everything is in USD, always. We invoice in dollars — Zelle works with no additional fee, and credit cards are welcome with a small processing fee. No currency confusion, no surprises.
Will we be able to communicate easily throughout?
Completely. David and the full team work in English — from the first conversation through every detail of your day. Most of our couples are from California, Texas, or the Pacific Northwest. You'll never feel the distance.
How do you handle the unexpected?
Quietly. After 21 years documenting weddings across eight countries — from Tuscany and Paris to Tulum and Valle de Guadalupe — very little surprises us. We plan carefully, build room for the day to breathe, and stay composed when anything shifts. Our couples rarely know when something has been navigated — only that everything felt smooth.
Can we visit the valley before we decide?
Please do. Valle de Guadalupe is worth the trip on its own — a long weekend of wine, food, and open air. We're happy to suggest venues, wineries, and places to stay. Some couples plan their visit around a Saturday tasting and come back already in love with the place.
